'It is essential for Americans to
understand that the administration has directed the military to prepare
plans to use nuclear weapons against at least seven countries - China,

NEOCON IMPERIALISM OR APOCALYPSE NOW
By
Darren Owen.
SELF APPOINTED MESSIAHS
So let us began by first answering the question, “just
what exactly is a neocon, what do they believe and where did they come
from?” Regrettably, many Americans have no idea and equate the term
with a “modern day” republican.
In short, neo-conservatism seeks U.S. military and
economic domination of the world.
They envision a “New World Order”, a new era of
“Enlightenment” by imposing what is termed “moral clarity and purpose”
of “American exceptionalism” upon the world through forced military
democratization. A war is peace doctrine, which flouts and dismantles
international laws through open-ended warfare while maintaining both
foreign and domestic rule. This messianic vision of an American global
empire smacks of a totalitarian Orwellian super state with apocalyptic
consequences for all humanity.
| "Creative destruction is our middle
name, both within our society and abroad. We tear down the old order
every day, from business to science, literature, art, architecture,
and cinema to politics and the law. Our enemies have always hated
this whirlwind of energy and creativity which menaces their
traditions (whatever they may be) and shames them for their
inability to keep pace. … [W]e must destroy them to advance our
historic mission." - Michael Ledeen |
JUST THE
BEGINNING-Is Iraq the opening salvo in a war to remake the world?
By Robert Dreyfuss -April 1, 2003 -The American Prospect
Over and over
again, in speeches, articles and white papers, the neoconservatives have
made it plain that the war against Iraq is intended to demonstrate
Washington's resolve to implement President Bush's new national-security
strategy, announced last fall -- even if doing so means overthrowing the
entire post-World War II structure of treaties and alliances, including
NATO and the United Nations. In their book, The War Over Iraq, William
Kristol of The Weekly Standard and Lawrence F. Kaplan of The New
Republic write, "The mission begins in Baghdad, but it does not end
there. … We stand at the cusp of a new historical era. … This is a
decisive moment. … It is so clearly about more than Iraq. It is about
more even than the future of the Middle East and the war on terror. It
is about what sort of role the United States intends to play in the
twenty-first century."
HOW WE GOT INTO THIS IMPERIAL PICKLE : A PNAC Primer
By Bernard Weiner May 27, 2003 - The Crisis Papers
Recently, I was the guest on a radio talk-show hosted by a thoroughly
decent far-right Republician. I got verbally battered, but returned fire
and, I think, held my own. Toward the end of the hour, I mentioned that
the National Security Strategy - promulgated by the Bush Administration
in September 2002 - now included attacking possible future competitors
first, assuming regional hegemony by force of arms, controlling energy
resources around the globe, maintaining a permanent-war strategy, etc.
"I'm not making up this stuff," I said. "It's all talked
about openly by the neoconservatives of the Project for the New American
Century - who now are in charge of America's military and foreign policy
- and published as official U.S. doctrine in the National Security
Strategy of the United States of America."
The talk-show host seemed to gulp, and then replied:
"If you really can demonstrate all that, you probably can deny George
Bush a second term in 2004."
THE
ARMAGEDDON FILE -The Right Wing Plan to Hijack America
By Sean Michael O'Culeigh - March 28, 2003 - South Texas Alliance for
Peace
Much of the
debate about the Bush administration's war on Iraq has centered around
whether it is morally right to enter a war "preemptively", whether it
should be fought unilaterally or multilaterally, or whether or not it is
about oil. While these arguments are all relevant, they miss the larger
shift in American policy that underlies the actions of this
administration. This shift in American policy deserts what America has
represented to both Americans and the rest of the world for the last
century. This is a battle for the hearts and minds of Americans that
will determine the fate of the world and the legacy that we leave to our
children, grandchildren and whatever generations are to follow. Never in
history has man wielded so much power. We truly stand at the turning
point of history. Many of us will be so overwhelmed by the enormity of
the issues that we will choose to sit on the sidelines and hope it will
pass. Many will choose to take the symbols for reality, giving up their
free will and allowing others to make their decisions. We do either at
our own peril. This is a fight that will affect each of us deeply in
material, psychological and spiritual ways. It is truly a battle between
whether love or hate will rule the world for the foreseeable future.
A WORLD
SAFE FOR DEMOCRACY OR PERPETUAL WAR?
By Eric Black - March 16, 2003 - Star Tribune
An influential group of foreign policy thinkers sees the
possibly imminent overthrow of Saddam Hussein as just one early step in
an ambitious blueprint to spread democracy throughout the world and
eliminate threats to the United States.
Although they developed their thinking long before the Sept.
11 attacks, the strategists, often called neoconservatives or neocons,
have increased their influence over the Bush administration since Sept.
11, many foreign policy analysts say.
PROJECT FOR THE NEW AMERICAN CENTURY (PNAC): Cheney's Monstrous
Scheme
By Mary Louise - Prisonplanet.Com
The blueprint
for our current foreign policy was being written back in 1992 by
then-Defense Secretary, Dick Cheney. His writings set out a new doctrine
that called for U.S. power in the twentieth century, to be that of an
aggressive and unilateral approach that would secure American dominance
of world affairs by force if necessary. This "peace through strength"
policy has been unfolding from the day Bush, Jr. took office; the
strategic planning of it was done during the Clinton administration with
funding from the military-industrial complex, energy companies, and
right-wing foundations. Over time, those working on these new plans
evolved into PNAC, established in 1997 with members Dick Cheney, Donald
Rumsfeld, and Paul Wolfowitz at the helm. May God help us!
BUSH PLANNED IRAQ 'REGIME
CHANGE' BEFORE BECOMING PRESIDENT
By Neil Mackay -September 15, 2002 - Sunday Herald
A SECRET
blueprint for US global domination reveals that President Bush and his
cabinet were planning a premeditated attack on Iraq to secure 'regime
change' even before he took power in January 2001.
The blueprint, uncovered by the Sunday Herald, for the creation of a
'global Pax Americana' was drawn up for Dick Cheney (now vice-
president), Donald Rumsfeld (defence secretary), Paul Wolfowitz (Rumsfeld's
deputy), George W Bush's younger brother Jeb and Lewis Libby (Cheney's
chief of staff). The document, entitled Rebuilding America's Defences:
Strategies, Forces And Resources For A New Century, was written in
September 2000 by the neo-conservative think-tank Project for the New
American Century (PNAC).
The plan shows Bush's cabinet intended to take military
control of the Gulf region whether or not Saddam Hussein was in power.
It says: 'The United States has for decades sought to play a more
permanent role in Gulf regional security. While the unresolved conflict
with Iraq provides the immediate justification, the need for a
substantial American force presence in the Gulf transcends the issue of
the regime of Saddam Hussein.'
IRAQ: Is the US empire
invincible?
December
2, 2003 BY DOUG LORIMER Seven months ago, when the US army rolled into
Baghdad, the US war machine seemed invincible. The US rulers seemed to
be in reach of realising their goal of conquering Iraq and using it as a
secure base from which to establish imperial domination throughout the
oil-rich Persian Gulf region. However, Iraq has begun to turn into a
nightmare for Washington. Instead of being a stepping stone on the road
to a “new American century” of unchallengeable US global domination,
Iraq has become a military quagmire, bogging the US army down in a
bloody and unwinnable guerrilla war. greenleft.org
Pax
Americana
Preserving
Pax Americana' is a clear reference to the Roman empire, which enforced
during half a millenium the 'Pax Romana' throughout the world known to the
Romans. This 'imperial vision' is confirmed in its summary, which hails the
coming of the 'unipolar moment' of unrivaled American power. This text,
published soon after the election of president Bush II, clearly establishes the
link between the vision expressed in the
1992 memo of the Wolfowitz right wing team, and the 'National
Security Strategy' of president Bush II, released on September 20, 2002.
The
Genetically Modified Bomb
Imagine a
bomb that only kills Caucasians with red hair. Or short people. Or
Arabs. Or Chinese.
Now
imagine that this new bomb could be set off anywhere in the world, and
that within a matter of days, weeks, or months it would kill every person
on the planet who fits the bomb's profile, although the rest of us would
be left standing. And the bomb could go off silently, without anybody
realizing it had been released - or even where it was released - until its
victims started dying in mass numbers.
Who would imagine
such a thing?
Paul Wolfowitz, for one. William Kristol for another.
Close advisors schooled in 'the noble lie' and 'regime change'
What do close advisors to Stephen Harper and George W. Bush have
in common? They reflect the disturbing teachings of Leo Strauss, the
German-Jewish émigré who spawned the neoconservative movement.
Strauss, who died in 1973, believed in the inherent inequality of
humanity. Most people, he famously taught, are too stupid to make
informed decisions about their political affairs. Elite philosophers
must decide on affairs of state for us.
"You take the
blue pill and the story ends. You wake
in your
bed and you believe whatever you want to
believe."

"You take the
red pill and you stay in Wonderland
and I show
you how deep the rabbit-hole goes."
